What Is t?
The JHLC Community Fund supports local causes we all care about. Donate, volunteer, or nominate a project! Let’s invest in our future, together.
What Does It Support?
It can support anything deemed worthy by the local community. It can be used to support local organizations, to subsidize costs for fundraising events, or to support individuals.
- Individuals: The Community Fund can fund grants to local community members. Maybe someone wants to start a non-profit and needs support? Maybe a family has fallen on hard times? Maybe a community member wants to pursue additional education or training, but needs help with the tuition?
- Local Organizations: We can partner with other local organizations to help spread the word and support their cause. Or we can donate directly.
- Local Events: We can hold events at JHLC, or be a part of other local events.
How Is It Funded?
Community members make donations to the fund, and part of the activity fee is also a donation to the fund.
How Is It Managed?
An advisory board will oversee the fund, will review proposals for how funds are allocated, and will make decisions on funding beneficiaries and amounts.
